Red Helix Brand Name Development
It is the mission of RED HELIX™ to foster a philosophy of customer care while providing unique fire and safety management services to the oil and gas sectors, industrial organisations and emergency services throughout the world.
Red Helix originally came to Tap Creative looking for brand and website design. It soon transpired that Tap were also going to be involved with the creation of the company name. As the business would have a strong presence in the Middle East it needed to be elegant and simple to understand for the dual language Arab states.
The solution:
This was a brilliant opportunity for Tap. We got to know the Red Helix team, their new business and learnt about it's products and how their audience would use them. After lots of valuable brain-storming we were delighted to put forward around twenty suggestions. Then the really hard work started... which one to go with! Each one also needed a matching domain name so each variation was checked with our preferred domain registration site: www.ukreg.com. Luckily www.redhelix.co.uk was available. We logged on and purchased the domain during the meeting so everything was secured. Red Helix was born! We could now easily attach our web hosting services to this domain.

The result:
The new logo design was based around the theme of 'DNA' - hence the reference to 'Helix'. This is because the Red Helix system uses cutting edge technology to identify fire safety employees with a unique personnel identification system. The red colour is one associated with fire safety the world over. The 0's and 1's behind the 'X' denote Binary data. Red Helix asked us to find out how to write their name in Binary code. With a little research, and patience we were able to do this. The 0's and 1's around the X now spell 'Red Helix' in Binary Code.
Tap have relished working with the Red Helix team, as it isn't everyday you are able to help somebody realise their business dreams and help drive it forward right from the creation of their name - let alone the brand.
